It would be our recommendation to only use the bat with official baseballs meant for tee ball play. As well, be sure that you are avoiding thrown baseballs. This bat is really only meant to hit a stationary baseball off of a tee and if anything is thrown at it, it should only be a tennis ball or Wiffle ball.
