Miken Freak 9R Josh Riley 12" SuperMax USSSA 240 Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MJR22U
This Freak 9R will feature a SuperMax barrel load and will be a beast to whip through the zone! But if you're up to the challenge, you'll be bopping softballs out with regularity!
Bat Benefits
Josh Riley battered softballs out of slow pitch yards as he competed at the highest level of softball (USSSA Conference) this past season. He and his Freak 9R model did so well that Miken has once again agreed to make it his signature bat!
In its most basic design, it is a two-piece and all-composite slow pitch bat. However, Miken beefs up the performance on this bat with their advanced technologies. They are going to have the bat outfitted with their C4 composite material and that material is supported by the E-Flex 360 technology that will ensure all faces of the barrel perform at a top level. In addition, their F4P Energy System ensures that the strength from a batter's swing will efficiently flow from the hitter's hands, through the handle and into the barrel. One of our favorite aspects of the bat is the A1 Knob which is smaller than a regular knob and allows batters to easily lay their bottom finger[s] over (or under) the knob for increased comfort and leverage when swinging.
And lastly, it would be crazy for us not to mention the SuperMax (1 Ounce) End Load that Miken adds to this bat. This will put it up there with the other really heavy slow pitch bats that exist. Because of that barrel-heavy feel, we would really only recommend this bat for intrepid power hitters!
Warranty
A slow pitch bat brand can only become a front runner within the softball market if they establish that they will care for their customers. Miken confirms that they value the players that swing this bat as they extend a twelve (12) month warranty period on it. If you get this bat from JustBats and notice that something is structurally wrong with it one (1) year from the purchase date, please let our JustBats Bat Experts know. They will get you the information needed to begin the warranty replacement process with Miken.
Also, be sure to know that this Miken slow pitch bat will come with a serial sticker on it. When you receive this bat, the first thing you should do is save the serial sticker. Go ahead and print off a copy of your receipt and tape the sticker right on the receipt. Then store the receipt (with the sticker) in a safe place. If your bat breaks during that first year of owning it, you will need to include the sticker with the bat when it is sent to Miken for a replacement. If you do not send the sticker with the bat, Miken will not get you a warranty replacement.
