Bought 2, both very hard and high quality wood. High exit velos for me against guys throwing mid 80s, 2 HRs in 9 games. When you barrel a pitch, you don't feel it at all (with Lizard Skin bat tape). Weighed both with a food scale, 32.4 oz and 32.5oz both with Lizard Skin bat tape. I have had a number of pitches get me on the hands for ground balls or pop ups and by some miracle the bat has not broken. I originally went with Axe because of the increased surface area when holding the bat reducing risk for hammate bone fractures, but have really appreciated the increased bat speed and barrel control as well.
