Madison Avenue is another standout fragrance in Bond no. 9’s already remarkable line of men’s and women’s scents that are contemporary, upscale and fun.
A combination of fruity, patchouli, sweet, rose and citrus accords are what make this perfume a go-to favorite for the smartly styled, carefree woman. The top notes are a savvy blend of tart, sweet and piquant with the inclusion of crisp apple, bergamot and blackberry. After this invigorating opening, you’ll encounter its blooming heart of rose, jasmine and magnolia. The genius in what makes this sense feminine but gives it staying power are its base notes of patchouli and praline mingled with the sweet earthiness of ambroxan.
Released in 2016, Madison Avenue is one of the latest scents in a long line of New York-themed fragrances by american perfume company Bond no. 9.
Named for its headquarters located at 9 bond street, the company was launched in 2003 by french-born entrepreneur Laurice Rahmé. Its first collection of releases that year included 16 “neighborhood” scents, each intended to capture the spirit of an iconic district in the big apple.
The higher percentages of pure perfume oils in their offerings are what make them some of the boldest, most long-lasting fragrances on the market today.
