The Easton Rival represents a great option of bat to consider if you want a slow pitch bat that is reliable and cost-effective!
Bat Benefits
Easton has constructed this bat with a straightforward one-piece design. As well, the material used on it is going to be their ALX Alloy material which should be durable and enjoyable for a batter to swing. They also mention that this bat will feature their "Loaded" distinction on their Player Optimized Weighting Scale. We have found that Easton's "Loaded" distinction is most similar to what other manufacturers call "Slightly End Loaded". However, with this bat being so economical in regard to price, we will recommend it for both contact hitters and power hitters (usually, we reserve recommendations of bats with barrel loads to just power hitters).
This Rival will be a great bat to get if you are playing in a slow pitch league that requires the use of an alloy material barrel.
As well, it would work great as a backup bat if you are organizing a team for a softball league. If your team has one or two top-of-the-line bats, it is not a bad idea to have a low-cost emergency bat (like the Ronin) just in case something terrible happens and both of the top bats go down at the same time!
Warranty
Easton is willing to extend a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on this high-powered bat!
