My son is 12 years old and on the small side, 4'10 and 90 lbs. He plays travel ball and after using this bat in practice he says the 30in drop 8 bat feels light and easy to swing. He especially likes the way the bat feels and does not even use batting gloves with this bat as he said he feels no sting or vibration. Lots of pop, consistently hitting the ball to the out field. All the kids on his team were in awe of the color scheme saying they have never seen a CAT 8 this color.

Bought my son 11yr old the 30in drop 8. He had been swinging the Cat 7 -8 and really liked it. For $30 more we gave it a try. Zero disappointment! This bat is everything we were looking for. Very little sting once in a while and he said it was a good sting. Great pop and very well balanced. Off the tee has a ting but once we got the machine going wow it is very loud! He loves it. The color scheme looks great.
