Bat Benefits
This Freak 9R features a two-piece design & 12 inch barrel length. Even though that 12 inch length isn't the longest out there, it will pack quite a punch! That barrel has the SuperMax load from Miken which will be a full 1 oz end load. This bat is going to be for some of the most intrepid slow pitch sluggers out there. If you have the strength to whip a hefty bat barrel through the zone, then this could be the bat for you!
Be sure to know that Miken doesn't just provide you (or Josh Riley) a hefty barrel and nothing else. This slow pitch bat will have new C4 Composite Material and E-Flex 360 Technology. That E-Flex 360 Tech ensures that you can connect with a softball on any face of the C4 Composite Barrel and get excellent performance + durability. And for one last note, this writer is especially excited about the A1 Knob. Miken reports that it should be slightly smaller than knobs they have put on their bats in the past. It should be interesting to see how much more comfortable the bottom hand will be when swinging this bat.
Warranty
Miken does indeed extend a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty on this bat. If you are swinging the bat and notice a structural defect or decreased performance, be sure and know that there will be the chance to get a warranty replacement bat. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR SERIAL STICKER. IT CAME WITH THE BAT WHEN YOU FIRST RECEIVED IT. MIKEN WON’T ACCEPT THE BAT FOR A REPLACEMENT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE STICKER.
