StringKing has built this BBCOR model with a single piece of alloy material. Some folks might scoff at such a straightforward design, but along with the design, the benefits of using the bat are straightforward...this bat hits!
When designing it, StringKing decided to create the bat with a slightly end-loaded feel. Typically, the slightly end-loaded bats will be more designed for batters that consider themselves power hitters. However, we believe that due to the bargain pricing plus the results that can be seen if you square up the baseball; both power hitters and contact hitters may want to try their hand at this bat.
StringKing was even willing to take things a step further with their R&D when designing their Metal BBCOR. They engineered the barrel to feature an extended sweetspot that achieves a .49 BBCOR rating (the highest possible rating is .50) on over half of the sections of the sweetspot. The consistent barrel rating exceeds that of rival bats on the market which have higher purchase prices than this Metal BBCOR bat.
